- Monitor the workplace conditions and implement corrective measures where required
- Provide assistance to Joint Health and Safety Committees and Health and Safety Representatives
- Consider legislative health and safety requirements as the minimum

In a career spanning over two decades, Shane specializes in high rise window cleaning, mastering the art of balancing meticulous quality with unparalleled safety measures, often utilizing and sharing his experience to educate and consult. His focus on planning, safety and seamless coordination has defined his journey in the property maintenance industry as the Operations Manager and Safety Coordinator at Cancore.
His responsibilities include developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and providing training to employees on safe work practices. He also works closely with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
He is passionate about not just creating, but continually growing a culture of safety through proactive, inclusive methods where every voice matters.
